Ive made a couple of modifications to some of my aircraft and i want to know how i change the speed at which the 'overspeed' message appears. Im on fs9 by the way.

Any help would be most appriciated.

I'm at work so I can't pull up one of the a/c cfg files, but there's an entry for 'damage' speed and another one for min and max speeds dealing with stall and flaps. Sorry I can't be more specific, but you should be able to locate them. you just need to increase them.

In the aircraft.cfg:

[Reference Speeds]

cruise_speed            =  269
(Typical cruise speed of the aircraft in a clean (flaps up) configuration at a typical cruise altitude, (Knots True Airspeed, KTAS)

max_indicated_speed =  304
(Maximum design indicated airspeed.  Also referred to as Never Exceed Speed or “Red Line” of the aircraft,  (Knots Indicated Airspeed)

max_mach = .56
(Maximum design mach of the aircraft.  This generally only applies to turbine airplanes.)

These entries control the overspeed message.

So you have to do it for each and every aircraft, then?

Yes, because technically, each different aircraft has a different "never exceed"  speed.
