need some help with a gmax effect i am trying to make
but have run into the old gmax wall again
so gmax masters please find it in your hearts to help me out here
need some advise about 2 effects i have noticed being used on some new aircraft lately
i came across a really nice mig 29 as it was fs planet site i not sure who's model it is might be (Eduardo Fadul) this model i have to say is really nice what has got me so interested in it is how the ejection seat animation works ie the seat disappearing
the same can be said about the drag chute as well form what i can see in the read me notes on it the model is made in fsds v2 now that i am getting used to gmax i would like the question answered
ok having made an ejection seat just to see if could do the same type of effect in gmax ok the seat named F_Canopy as you would expect so it animated to go up then backwards to a point hopefully were it should disappear
but after trying several ways i hit the gmax wall
i can not get the seat to disappear using scaling if thats right
ie scale downed so small so you can not see it .
now i am using mdl commander and and the other one as well i have noticed i can not get any scale to work with animations at the moment now from the sdk's they do say that scale animation is supported in fs so in theory it should work
i am doing some thing wrong here guy's ??
by the way the download for the mig is 100 megs in size and is named
mig29_full
if any one could point me in the right direction would be greatfull
(more intersted in the ejection seat effect than drag chute at this point )

Hi mate
to complement the info that i send you i post you this pic
here you can see 2 canopys, the light blue is the active and is the one for the ground, the other is the one that is visible when the plane is in the air.
