It says I pass with flying colors, the problem that it can't know is my graphics card uses 400 or so MB of my system ram.... Thanks for this site, I will use it to check if I can run games.... if its acurate  Grin

Gunny

EDIT: And compared to my system on the test thing and how FSX runs, I get medium settings with no AI, Boats, or Cars, No clouds, and lowest visibility posible and it says my computer is half way in the recomended....

Before you get too excited read this. Quote:
What it does
System Requirements Lab looks at your computer's hardware and system software to determine whether or not your current system can run a product. Each of your computer's components is evaluated to see how well it meets the minimum and recommended requirements for specific products.

If they're going by the unrealistic minimum requirements on the box I reckon most computers would pass with flying colours. Roll Eyes

So do you have FSX? If you do is that accurate? That's the question really. It needs people who can state their performance levels and post their specs with this. Otherwise it doesn't mean much.

I think its acurate, Because the only thing holding my computer back is Mr. 7300LE and it says my 3800+ CPU is one bar from max.... Bah!

Cheers, Gunny

heres my system on that site

...

My FSX scenery settings (Note that Low clouds, Highest water, Lowest visibility, No cars, AI, or boats)

...

Now obviously this test goes on Video card ram, My card is a crappy 7300LE..... other than that, the test seems precise!

Went past ALL recommended requirments in everything!!! But I still cant run FSX.... The best FPS I get is 13fps and in areas with trees and houses, buildings, ect. I get 4fps if best. This doesnt make any sence. I have went far and beyond recommended and I still cant run FSX.

Maybe iīm not telling something absolutely new,but i found these lines in the description of the Nvidia driver site;

Updated October 17, 2006: Updated driver to include NVIDIA SLI profiles for Battlefield 2142, Company of Heroes, and Flight Sim X.

That was new to me,so i am happy with this Testsite! Smiley

Whats your setup grunt?

I have a AMD64 4200 X2, GeForce 7900GT KO running in SLI, 250Gig Sata HD, 2Gig of RAM. I might have to try those new drivers for nvidia SLI.

These web sites are stupid. They just collect your system info and don't tell you anything about your computer. If you want to know how your system does download the demo.

BTW Gunny how is the slideshow? LOL  Grin

isnt a slide show to be honest..... Unless I fly in NYC which I am usually a canadian bush FS pilot... or alaska or some remote place. I run 9-15FPS thank you kindly  Grin

Cheers, Gunny

EDIT: Its the joystick thats causing me hell, not my hardware.... though Replacing my 7300LE would solve what lag I get in Cities!

Also its not a 'slide show' But it does stutter a little bit on external views, who needs an external view anyways? have a look at my cruddy 9.4FPS somewhat stable at the settings I put up in here earlier
