Okay guys, I think I read somewhere that the "F" in FSX stands for "frustrating" because that is what this sim is turning out to be for me.
I finally tweaked it to where I want the game to be graphically but now I'm finding bugs and lots of em and I want to know if anyone else is having these?
I have textures that are missing or fail to load, I have textures that load and then disappear, I have my graphic setting take a dump on me then I have to hit the ESC key and come back to get them to go to where I had them....like going from HIGH settings to LOW in a heartbeat.
I don't have jetways and have no idea how to get them in the game. My zoom keys, - and + stop working for some reason mid flights.
So many others but those are the top ones I can come up with. When everything is working fine I love this game but these little things are pissing me off and distract me from truly enjoying the sim. I'm sure there is a patch coming?
Anyone else having having issues? Please post some of your bugs.

for the jetways scenery complexity needs to be on atleast "dense" for the "+" and "-" keys hit backspace and that may fix the problem

Try upgrading every bit of your system, BIOS, vid cards, sound cards, windows/linux. That could probably solve your problem, though i put my money on your video drivers
.
Adn hey, how can you expect software to run bugfree, im always impressed by how many people software runs without problems, since almost every machine is different.
You tryed reporting the bugs to MS?

FS-any-version has always had weird bugs around the outside views. When you can and cannot zoom (like after opening a door.. and then having to change views and back before zoom will work again).
What I'd gripe about are the flight dynamics.. They aint very good in this version. Or.. accurate I guess is a better way to put it. But.. it's nothing that can't be fixed by the user, via aircraft.cfg.
I don't like that landing gear are now "toggle only" for the CH Yoke. You can't assign one of the front paddle-switches for up AND down.. you can only assign an up/down toggle to one side of those switches.
And a bug that's kinda amusing to me, is that on the KingAir.. if you leave the landing lights on after retracting the gear.. those nose-wheel mounted light effects just hover under the nose
That was something I fixed on both my Pipers (thanks AuMaV) before releasing them.
There are more "issues", but they're of the variety that aren't worth mentioning..

What I did was to spray The Disks with bug spray before I installed the game

Actualy, it all handles a lot more realistic imho, and from what i can compare with IRL. Especialy the unrealistic handling of the 206(or lack of it) in 2004 is fixed, wich is a good thing.

Some users on other forums also report the physics of the little aircrafts to be improved, at least in the flight sensations.
The Extra 300 seems to be vastly improved as well.
The only doubts raised by a lot of virtual pilots was about the extreme manovrability of the...errr don't remember, small liner... learjet most likely. but nothing's sure, no real Learjet pilot could say anything yet.
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

Yeah, all of the general aviation handles great, i could do some manouvres with the 206 that would have taken me a great amount of trouble in FS9. Same for the Cessna 172.

Being able to do maneuvers more easily.. or a better feel, does not mean accurate.
I only have real experience piloting light GA (approaching 800 hours).. so I can't comment on the jets and larger planes. But the Baron and Bravo aren't very realistic. Pitch is way too touchy.. the realtionship between pitch/roll/yaw when turning is way off (especially trying to fly a precise pattern or hold)..
It's not much worse than FS9 (and surely differs when comparing a joystick to a yoke and pedals) and is probaly part personal preference and part hardware calibration too.

I didnt said that, it is just from what i know form flying in a cessna, and a friend of mine flies in helicopters(The R22) and he noticed a big differance compared to what it was in FS9.

I'll agree with that.
The Lear does seem somewhat spritely I have to say.
