Ah yes, but did you see it in the air?
PS. Neither did I but this would be a really rare event. Sadly I just missed seeing it when it was on static display at Long Beach harbor alongside the Queen Mary. It had been there for years but they went & moved it without asking my permission.

LOL! I work just north of the flight path. You could be almost anywhere in Omaha and if you look up at the right time, you might see one. I saw one doing touch and go's at Eppley Airfield a couple of months ago.

Nothing new. I had a giant kettle suspended over Meigs for a long time.

Yak 50. We had one land at our last Club fly-in breakfast at Cornwall Regional. Of course a beautiful blonde gets out, takes off her helmet, long flowing hair blowing in the wind....She was as impressive as the magnificently restored Yak.

I saw the Concorde land at...
YSSY
! Think, how rare it is down in here Australia! It was even announced on the news that the Conc was coming because its so rare down here... (Talking from a 90's perspective I know Conc is retired) I have photos that I'll upload sooner or later... along with my recent An-124 experience. Oh I also forgot, I saw a Janet 737-200 when I flew on Ted from KLAX to KLAS. Damn 5:00 in the morning flight.

F-19 Aurora
I mean, Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero in dog-fighting condition with a P-51D also in Dog-fighting condition.
Seen a Beechcraft Starship 2000,
Been inside and all around a Bac One-Eleven 400,
Been inside and all around both a Yak 52 and a CJ-6,
and watched the most spectacular display of my beloved F-14D Tomcat who had a segment in show where her wings were full back and vapor was formin'
Also seen both Air Force One's and a couple of E-8 JSTARs.
But probably most rare I've seen was i climbed on the tire of an active B-52 at McConnel AFB in Witchita Kansas... Hummer pulled up with M-16s and told us to get on the other side of the fence... we thought it was part of the museum... they shouldn't park those things so close to open access ramp.
And watched a flight of T-38's come in back to back to back to back etc etc.

I've seen/been in the Connie thats at 4N1. Its been there since they landed it there in the 50-60's? I've also been in an He-111, a B-24, a B-25, and a B-17. Most of those planes I saw at the Essex Co. airport* and Sussex Co. airport
*if you go there, eat at the 94th Bomber Group, the food is great!
