Hi folks.
I am just wondering which air museums in the UK are worth a visit.
I already have Duxford, Cosford and Hendon on my "To Go To" list and I was wondering if there are any other good ones out there.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
P.S I have already been to:
Yorkshire air museum, Newark air museum, Aeroventure, East Midlands Aeropark and the Fleet Air Arm museum.

Middle Wallop is a must visit if your interested in army aviation and the history of that subject. If you go on a weekday you'll also be up close and personal with the flight school's day to day routine which means, a lot of Lynx, Apache, gazelle and light aircraft op's.

East Kirkby and the BBMF visitor center are worth a visit especially if they are doing Lancaster taxi runs and Spitfire flying at East Kirkby. The two are only ten miles away from each other but BBMF is only open week days and their Lancaster is currently at Coventry!

Brooklands in Surrey is worth a visit, as well as a newly restored Concorde (G-BBDG) there is a BAC 1-11, a VC10 and a few vintage aircraft. Though it's predominately a motorsport museum.

Newark is a very nice little museum. they don't have big bucks but they are a very friendly crew and you can get onboard some of their aircraft for a small fee (50p)
Also I have to mention Elvington, They again are run as a charitable organisation up here in the north but the have some damn fine aircraft as well as retaining alot of the layout of the WWII airfield layout (control tower, chapel etc.).
Oh and there is the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yoevilton - nice
I appreciate you have aready been to some of the above but new exhibitions and exhibits come in fairly regularly.

Just been to Cosford, although it's a shame the new hangar isn't open yet.
We had a talk with one of the staff who said that they want to let visitors in but the company who is doing all the work wont give them the keys
Anyway we went at a bad time because they were just restocking the transportation hangar next week
Oh well....
