Fun Game! (Read 481 times)

Just came up with a fun game! Go to airliners.net, and search for you birthdate (the month, day, and year of your birth) by typing it in the keywords and selecting the field Photo Date. Then post a link to what you got to see what photos there are from the day you were born.

For some older members itll be harder, but theres probably at least one.

When I tried it, i had to search by entering the year then a keyword search for the month in "all fields" just to find anything... then no matter what results page it is, the URL is the same as for the generic search page. so... no link possible, sorry.

There is one really cool photo from January 1963, but only the thumbnail is available. A few other interesting ones from that month, including a crusty-looking Nigerian Airlines B377, but none from my birthday itself.
To see the very cool color aerial shot from inside a Shorts Sandringham near NZ, enter "1963" in the year box, then "January" > "All fields" in the keyword box.
It's only a thumbnail, but it's awesome... and proof that color film existed when I was born!! Grin
