Quite the nice compliment to those people that spend their time giving the community FREE planes. Really, what a nice person you are, thanking them in such a polite way.

You are free to kiss the tarmac where the default planes you so love pass, but have no right whatsoever to insult the work of others, if for said work you pay nothing.

And before you start, I said that the defaults were "poorly done". Didn't go around saying "this sucks" or "that sucks".

Mine was a point of view, yours was a slander.

May I remember you then that for the defaults planes you pay? Are they payware material, by your reckoning?

Yes, you pay for the defaults. The price paid is part of the price of the simulator itself. Or do you think M€$ puts them there as a gift?

Let me stress that I'm not trying to slander the defaults. I only say, and stay my ground, that they're poorly done. At the lower end of the freeware you so despise, quality-wise.

Mine remains a personal point of view, and doesn't mean one shouldn't use them. I myself use the defaults sometimes, sure I'm not allergic to them. They remain not great planes, though.

You are right, I should not have used such a bad expression, and used "poorly done" instead.
Appologies for that.

It's not me you should apologize to, but all the free working people you could have offended with your remark.

No one is going to force you to use a free plane. It's free. Free for you not to use too.

The virtual worlds inside our simulators is the last land where we're free to do what we want, let's leave it like that.

Those appologies were not aimed at you, but to those freeware community people.
And where did you see any sarcasm attempt ?

If there wasn't any, then I apologize to you.

It was no sarcasm. It was just a critic that, as you rightly mentionned, was way too violent and impolite.

The planes that come with fsX are amazing! Even payware quality. I get smoother VC experiance in the default aircraft when compared to PMDG 737 while still looking better.
