Yep.  I dont think thats a REAL plane, but another example for big floats would be the XC-47, the C-47 on floats.  I believe that the floats it used are the worlds biggest floats, Edo model 540s if I remember correctly.

That is a realy good looking 130 with the floats on there. One of these days I'll get some time to fly it. Wink Seeing that picture gave me an idea of how to do the floats on the Dash 8. I think they will extend down from the wingbox. That way they'll have good structural support and wont take away from the passenger cabin. Also I wont have to build bulges on the fuselage. It will also make for an interesting looking aircraft. Thanks again for the insperational link. Greg
