I made the dreadful mistake of buying "Blazing Angels" a  ww2 arcade like flying game - with a lot of potential - but absolutely NO joystick support of any kind. Anyone else played this game on PC and had similar problems? know of any solutions? just curious.

I am awestricken and absolutely dumbfounded beyond recognition that a company would release a flying game with NO joystick support.

It is all i can do to type this much as i am at a complete loss for words. I am truly paralyzed in disbelief!  Shocked  Angry  Shocked  Angry

Isn't the game for XBox 360?

It is not a simulation, it is an arcade game, so a flightsim joystick is not important. In an arcade game it is easier to play using a gamepad than a joystick.

Like so many other games it was released for PC, XBOX, XBOX 360 and other consoles. There is a setup option to configure a joystick on the PC version (the one in have) but no matter how you configure the settings for your joystick, no matter how many times you calibrate and do all of the typical joystick setup things we have all done a hundred times it just wont work... believe it or not the game is played with the mouse! The game is listed as "Simulation". and claims to be joystick compatible. I have read other forums at UBI. com over 15 pages long of people claiming to have the same joystick woes for the game's PC version. not many happy PC fans out there i think.
