Yes CSM.... please join in.  The more people the more fun it is.

Not sure how new you are to using multiplayer correctly... ..... but please check the multiplayer info in this forum about opening the appropriate ports.  That way everyone can connect.

CSM,

Then you ought to go here:

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Multi;action=display;num=1...

and also here:

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Multi;action=display;num=1...

To learn some stuff about setting up your computer and the sim multiplayer functions correctly BEFORE you join up on the tour day.  Then test logging on to the SimV server (sam's server) (or most any other flight server) to make sure that things are working correctly.

Also read up on Teamspeak.  You will likely want that in order to communicate with us all as we fly.... like in the real world via radio...... cause' the chat box gets VERY old fast.  Wink

Teamspeak is a separate program that you have to download and install .  It is freeware.  You ALSO have to configure it correctly.

Again do this BEFORE the SA Tour day.  Read the instructions.  It is not that hard.  Once installed and test configured...... go onto a Teamspeak server (like the part at the SimV server) and see if you can both hear the other users...and also be heard clearly.

ALSO.... it is important to set up Teamspeak with the mike activation set on PTT (push to talk), not voice activated.  Voice activated usually results in everyone hearing a lot of breathing noises, every cockpit alert and other such stuff.

Hope this helps you get started on multiplayer.  It is a blast and well worth the time setting it all up.

best,

.................john
