I am putting on the airshow on the 9th of sept. but one problem. there is no opening display. it would be nice to have a couple of big bombers with some fighters and things like that for a big flyover to start things off. let me know what you guys have in mind. i would like to do a tribute for all the people that fought in the war in the 1940's. so like a B17 P-51, spitfire, things like that. let me know what you guys come up with.

Maybe the VBBMF could start it off? Just an idea....
High Flight Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air. Up, up the long delirious, burning blue, I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or even eagle flew - And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod The high untresspassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand and touched the face of God.&&

Well, maybe you could ask Mic for a little get together on the server to see what they are like and decide that way. Just another idea

You could come along to one of our sporadic and random practices......although I swear we have some pics somewhere of us in the air....I have a few of us on the ground.
The problem is that i cant be taking screens whilst concentrating on formation factors such as speed and height.

Ok, ive got an idea. We could use a few flyable formations to do a big flypast, then we'd only need a couple of pilots but it would still look good. I know there are flyable formations of the Red Arrows, Patrioulle de France, The spanish display team (forget what they're called), The Black Sea Hawks, A greek mirage team, The midnight hawks, The saudi hawks etc. Im sure there is more available. If anyone wants to do this then it would look awesome
