Happened this morning just down the road from me.

http://www.thisisoxfordshire.co.uk/display.var.898924.0.plane_crashes_on_road.ph...

There is a lay-by near one end of the main runway where people sometimes meet for spotting and it sounds like it may have gone through it so lucky no one was near by at the time.

Seems everyone is OK. Good news Smiley

Here's the Warrior on the road

...

Apparently lost all power on take off around 50ft. Pilot abandoned take off, applied brakes but did not have enough runway to stop, going through the perimeter fence and flipping onto it's back on the road.

Pilot shaken but unhurt, two trainee pilots aboard received bruises and treated at the local hospital. Everyone really lucky, me thinks Smiley

yikes, aircraft are dropping like flies at the moment, 6 days ago a light aircraft crashed about 3 miles from my home near Rotherham, UK.
Then there is the kentucky incident, the glider at wichita, the tupolev in the ukraine.

Alot of bent airplanes over the past week or two!
