My problem is that when the simulator loads up the first 5 seconds the textures are crystal and then they go blurry over a couple seconds.  They go from clear to kinda blurry to more blurry to totally blurry.  The blurriness  is for all textures ie. VC, plane inside and out, buildings ground\runway textures, ALL of them.  If i go into a menu outside of the flight ie. display settings or the map and come back to the flight the textures are clear again then go blurry.  I have tried the modified fsx.cfg and that didnt help.  I have the display settings maxed for texture clarity as well.  Please help!

This has been a problem for most people, and has even made its mark into the developers blogs.  The final FSX version should have this problem improved.

i have that too, apparently, everyone does...

Tdragger, the guy who wrote that blog, and is now a member of SimV, said that they already have them fixed and this won´t be a problem in the boxed version Wink

Fine, I'll bite...

What are these 'blurries'?  If its to do with the textures then I know.  Besides, isn't that just a problem with the Billinear or Trilinnier filtering with DX9 hardware?  If you don't want the blurries, then turn of the filtering (the textures will look very sharp, like giant pixels...)

...&&FS Water Configurator+ has new modifications in the works, plus DirectX 10, Service Pack&&1, and Radeon HD 3+ Series support.
