Gmax Error (Read 187 times)

I got the (from what i've heard) typical gmax error about not finding makemdl.exe Cry i've fixed the meters thing so it's not that, so i give you an lovely presnt (drom roll) an error report (don't you love me:-*)

oh and BTW the plane/car is the Back to the Future II flying delorean

Well, I would suggest you go to where you are telling Gmax to convert the model to (Aircraft/bttfII/Model/bttfII) and then erase all files associated with the model.

The X File is sort of a go between for Gmax and MakeMDL, transferring the units and stuff to make it available for MakeMDL to use.

Have you checked your model for any inconsistencies such as collicated vertices and such? Usually, that would generate the error. The same error message can appear when a scenery object exceeds a certain amount of polygons.

That woudn't be the problem, I've had a problem ago with "Collicated vertices", in the error log it states the coordinates etc. about the bad vertices. 8)

My only suggestions is make sure Makemdl is properlly set up and export your file as a model and try the option of ignore errors or something in the options.. Grin

what are Collicated vertices? oh and i merged points that were on top of eachother now it doesm't make a .log file  Shocked
