hey,

I don't know if you already that or not, but one of the designer of FSX, mike gilbert, run a blog and talk about stuff interesting us...
here it is: http://blogs.msdn.com/tdragger/

that's really interesting to see of things interact. users post in forums, designers check the forums and tweak products accordingly, and now users can check designers work to see if their "desire" are accounted for...
amazing!!!

if you already know, then...sorry!

We're their customers. Of course they have to listen to us if they want us to keep buying their stuff. After seeing all the negative feedback for the past 3 years, I bet Aces Studios is a bit worried about their reputation right now. Grin

I think ACES studio is moe worried about the reputation of the X-Plane dev team  Grin My guess is that it's not that long ago that they started to pay attention to the comments of the community, and the growing popularity of X-Plane over the past few years have made them realize how important this kind of interaction was.

It's not just purely financial either I'm sure. I'm willing to bet their team takes pride in what they do and want people to also like what they are doing. Believe it or not it stings a bit when someone slags off what you are doing.
