,I would like to express my worrie that I see Inapropiate vocabulary and especialy all those buches of new kids (not all) they open threads without sense,or pointless, what I want it to said is
Gosh I miss the old SimV forum times,is there a way to clean by advises?and without ofending in other not to get an insult with rude words by that?

is just a opinion and Im aware is impossible for mod & admin to control This situation, for example I saw yesterday I child very upset because he couldn't download fsx, when I read all the beginig of his post ,well come on if i writte F$CK it doesn't need to be spell correctly to see that is a rude ,a bad &inapropiate word he's just imitating the rest ,he is a good boy,I try to talk in spanish to calm him down an told him ,or to advise him to change all that,But then I regret , and I edit,he could tell me ,is not your bussinness

I think we all deserve respect from jon rose to Our webmaster,I was very dissapoint the way of this new wave of young boys ,are so thankless the day I post his welcome,Not because he went to far and a long time just I did it to give a tribute to someone who deserve it,the reason ""Simv""" Im not trying by playing the kissing of the Boss, instead they make fun of me,wich I don't care,I thought this was going to be a fully welcome from all the guys here,to make him a little happy ,Instead If I could erase that Roll Eyes

Agreed, I have also noticed this recently from a few of our newer members (Ok I'm not exactly a veteran but have been looking at these forums for a couple of years now)

I understand that a few of them were just tired and were letting off a bit of steam, but I don't think it's right for them to retaliate at people who are trying to calm them down.

Oh yeah forgot to mention that Dr Goodfly is the exception.....everybody knows that he is a bit "funny"

I quite agree. I have mentioned it to an (anonymous) mod, but I think he was looking at Ilovespitfires.com at the time... Smiley

This happens every few months. Like forrest fires on a hot dry summer. We try our best to keep the flames under control.

The fires are small. The forest is big. Smiley

Been happening for years. Every few months someone says things are going down .. but they aren't.

Thing to do is not take it all too seriously & realise, like Dave says,  that we mods are watching & things get done when someone is out of hand or seems to be detracting from the positive experience people come here for.

Generally the majority of pests at Simviation get bored and leave or get banned. While they are here they are a pain the neck though. I like your illustration Pete, but a fire in a forest no matter how small is a nasty thing to have and needs to be put out. Wink

Has anyone ever actually been banned from SimV? I mean permanently
even in my erratic comings and goings over the years I have seen a few people cause trouble and get driven out but I have never heard of anyone actually being banned

Lots of people have. But rarely is a song and dance made over it. It's usually a quite press of a button with little or no warning for everyone but the subject who is warned previously.

True - I believe that at anyone time there is a mod posted at a level of 5 minute readiness to complete this task - once the balloon goes up he must be able to deploy a marmalade bomb or a banning to anywhere in the world at a moments notice!!
