I am about to launch a website for all my aircraft repaints. I am wanting to take a screenshot that I will use on the home page. I have already designed and painted a 747 up in my 'house colours' for this purpose, but would love to have it parked infront of a Hanger, with my logo on it. Could I find a hanger texture somwheer in my fs9 directory and just temporerily repaint it as if it was an a/c texture?

Yes you can, the problem is finding the texture.  Roll Eyes

The problem is most default object textures have cryptic names, and are not easily located.

It might be easier to find the texture from an installed add-on scenery or place the object yourself using an object placer program, like Rwy12.

In any case, make sure to check any License or Copywrite restrictions before posting and give credit.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky
