hey guys,

I can run the FSX demo pretty well, but it seems that I don't have a lot of RAM.

My Compaq Presario V2000 specs are:
AMD Turion 64
ATI Radeon Xpress graphics card
1.59 Ghz
384 MB of RAM

My question is: can I run FSX well if I buy another 512mb of RAM?

High Flight Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air. Up, up the long delirious, burning blue, I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or even eagle flew - And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod The high untresspassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand and touched the face of God.&&

I have the same setup [almost] on a laptop and the demo seems to fair nicely in the system. However, I'm pretty sure the full release would be as demanding as the demo.

The full release should be slightly less demanding than the demo. The game is still in beta testing and they're still optimized the code.

I think another 512mb of RAM should benifit though Wink

Yeah, but on the other hand, the full game would have MUCH MORE data to load concerning the scenery... I mean, in the demo, there's just an island and water, what about flying over a big city, or a montain zone, with all the terrain, autogen, traffic, AI, etc ... ?
My guess is thatthe full game will be more demanding on memory than the demo :/
