All,
I have a few add-on aircraft that start out sunk into the runway.  Actually, I even have one hovering above the runway.  Anyone know how to fix this problem.  I hope there is a file I can go tweak to fix this!

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks

Hi Dap, it could either. There is only one way you will know where the problem lies. Its by trail and error.

The first thing you need to do is to try to fy the same plane in a diferent airfield in a another Theater and see if you have the same problem.

If the problem persist and it does not happen with any other plane in your Hangar then its your plane landing points that are the problem.

If the other planes wheels are sunken in the same airfield you tried originaly then its your mesh.  Its that simple.

How do correct it if its a problem with your mesh. Well simply open your game and go to scenery. Deactivate one mesh at a time see witch one is the cause of your problem. You can only do this by trail and error.

As for correcting you landing points. Well maybe another member can help you out in this matter.

Remember if you have any problem in the future you can always bring it up here and we will try to help you as best as posssible.

Please tell us if we were able help you out in this matter.

James007 & Stiz,
Thanks for responding and it looks like you were both correct.  I have received an email from Cody Coyote with a tutorial on contact points.  It looks like my problem is now corrected.  Thanks much for your input, and of course Cody!
