For the sake of this arguement, let's assume that FSX has just been released. If it was, which current addon would you like to try out first?

You can only pick one.

Me, I like to try out the Blackbird and zip through the skies like heck. 8)

Is there a Space Shuttle payware addon ?
The freewares have only 2D panels, is there a payware with 3D panel ?

And for the earth, you could also just stick with the freeware X15 Smiley

Well, I haven't seen any freeware Shuttle with 3D panel yet, and I think we won't see any before a long time, judging from the impressiva amounts of Shuttles produced since FS5 ( = at least 3...or 4  Roll Eyes )

So when you mentionned the Shuttle, I thought you were talking about a payware model that I didn't knew, and was curious Smiley

Team FS KBT's F-18E with 3Wire.  If i can still land an F-18 on an aircraft carrier in FSX where I actually 'catch' the arrestor cables then yay! Wink

The first airplane I will try in FS9 will be there for VERY UNREALISTIC reasons  Lips Sealed
I admit the first thing I will try is not realistic at all, I will do realistic stuf afterwards.
What I want to try is to put in orbit the F-14, or any cool shaped plane with nice VC (maybe the X24 as well, on a more realistic point of view) and eventually set my speed to make a re-entry.

Understood what kind of screenshot I want to do ? Anyone here to make a cool Macross (Robotech) repaint of the F14 please ?  Grin Grin 8)

EDIT: This style Smiley
...

I will have plenty of time to experiment the X15 or X24 later  Tongue

You will notice, that the nose gear (notice the catch for carrier take-offs), and canopy (the front windscreen has a centre viewing port) are actually from an F-14 Tomcat.  This also goes for the phoenix missiles directly underneath the jet.  Also the little FLIR (i think) under the nose, like on Tomcats...

Still well edited tho, but the detail in the cockpits gave it away (cuz I think most 3D modellers wouldn't go through the trouble of creating such a detailed cockpit area...).

haha, this is indeed a F14 original picture, which has been modified by the author to include a model of a Valikyrie.

In the original Macross/Robotech anime, the author was inspired by the Tomcat t design his plane, this is a well know story Wink
