Saturday is going to be bad for me also now due to work. I'll be home later but 16:30 will be no good for me. Reading a few posts it seems a lot of people will have problems with this Saturday so I suggest you push the date back. It will give you time to sort out all the planning and give everyone time to get ready. Not sure I'm too keen on all the modern stuff creeping in. The title says Warbird Air show and a Warbird to me is a piston engine aircraft from the WW1/2, Korean war era. Still, it's not my show so fly what you please Wink Grin

Im gonna push the date back because a lot of people cannot make it this saturday and this will give people more time to prepare for the show. I think maybe saturday the 12th or sunday 13th at around 6:30pm UK time, 1:30pm US time. I cannot do the airshow from 2nd to the 7th August or the 16th to the 22nd.
And yeah, there is a few modern aircraft creeping in. Maybe ill apply a new 'piston' only rule.
Cheers.

Sounds good. I'll be in my Spitfire PRXIX, if there is a vBBMF display, or even if there isn't. I suppose I can sort out a solo if it doesn't work out.

True, but a Victor ain't a Warbird. When one says Warbird, one generally refers to WWII fighters - having said that, I could very well be wrong and a Warbird is indeed just a 'craft from a war Roll Eyes Grin

Wink

The HP.80 first flew in 1952 and Korea ended in '53. The first Victor B.1 flew in 1956, a few years after Korea me thinks Wink The UN would have been greatful for a squadron of V-Bombers during the Korean War I think. Anyhow like I said, it's not my show so fly what you like, makes no difference to me.
Mid August should be OK for me. Keep us posted.
