I have hered it will be combat flight sim 3 with a mod to replace the spitfires with gliders and the bombs with flour bombs! although thankfully they have made the controlls more "arcade freindly" whatever that means.  I mean anything that has freindly in must be good right?

[insert £1 to continue your flight]

First you must reconstitute 4ml of sterile water onto the 6ml vial of marmal-aid so that it can be better absorbed by the body via intravenious injection. Grin

The controls have been made more arcade friendly to facilitate the change over from PC to Xbox 360.

From what's been said, I reckon my fears will be confirmed: it could turn out to be even more of a 'toy' than I first suspected. No doubt it'll still bear the description at point of sale: 'SIMULATOR'

There is another thread started which asks "will you be buying"

Personally, NO. I have not forgiven them for CFS3.  The old addage 'Consumer Confidence' comes to mind.

...I dunno...(as they say in America)....I'm always prepared to give Uncle Bill the benefit of the doubt...
I think he, and his crew do try to give us what we ask for, (in Forums like this).... Wink...!
They occasionally do get it wrong, like in CFS3, where we, out here, realised that CFS 2 was far superior!
But hopefully, they take note, from reading Forums such as ours and Avsim, etc, (which they apparently do) to improve the next version...  8)...!
All we can do is to purchase the next version, and do the comparison for ourselves...
If we have wasted our money, then we are all grown up enough to live and learn... Wink...!

Paul... 8)...!

I've always liked CFS3. M$ boldly made the next step in the development of the game engine and just rushed it a little.
