Ok then, you all know that flour bombs will be included in FSX and everyone knows that this will allow developers a chance to impliment their own weapons effects into the next version of FS. And just to remind you all, weapons in a civilian sim is nothing new. X-Plane uses this feature as well.

Anyways, the main topic of discussion here will be figuring out how to keep Ozzy from getting his hands on the upcoming marmalade bombs that developers might create. After all, none of us like to see our homes covered in bright-orange goo, now do we? Grin

Not sure about that, nothing very interesting happens down here in Phuket, might be exciting to have marmalade dropped upon me.

I tell you what was cool tho, in Chiang Mai, on Childrens day, if you go to the airport, A-10s drop candy with little parachutes on them.  Man that was fun.  Maybe I'll do that for the flour bombs. Wink

I believe it will be done, but think that a payware company will take advantage of that and make a whole mod from that.... But it's very exciting to know, atleast I Know the new FSX wil not be "boring". Grin

I'm not really a fan of weapons being implemented into what is primarily a civilian flight sim. CFS exists for that, along with a hundred other combat flight sims.

No point in complaining, though.....just a personal viewpoint.

Why would it be a payware outfit? Most of the major improvements in FS have been made by freeware developers.

I'll try to look for the video. I'm sure it's somewhere around here. It was one of those videos where they showed FSX in a booth in the middle of a convention.

It will be made for free first. Then no doubt the payware outfits will swoop down and privatise it like they did with Arrcab and FSUIPC.

That's only when they're popular enough, which happens often. BTW, I found this pic of the FSX user interface.

...

If you look closely, you can see the title "flour power [E3]" listed in the menu. To be frank with you guys, that kind of title sounds like it came from a hippie. Grin

Ok, I'm sure there was a video shown before. I just haven't searched hard enough.

That's the most reasonable answer I would have came up with, the mods will most likely become retro of WW2 or recreated times of real war ect. Grin
