How big do you think FSX wll be space wise?
i think FS8 was like half a gig, and i dont know what FS9 was, but apparently FSX is going to be alot more detailed and complex so, it should take up a whole lot more space correct?

So much space that you won't have any room on your stock hard drive so you will have to spend an additional $100+ for a new hard drive that can hold more room than the "National Archives".

If it's going to be shipped on DVD, I'd assume it's going to be rather large.

Do you want it to come as five seperate CDs instead?

FS 98 was a single CD
FS2000 = 2CDs
FS2002 = 3CDs
FS2004 = 4CDs
common sense would tell us that it would be the equivelant of 5 CDs then so 700x5=7500MB or 3.41 GB
probably more when it off the dvd though

I can see the future now. One day, DVDs will be so obsolete that future games/sims will be in multi-DVDs.

Actually, if you read about Sony's new 'Blue Ray' discs (for the PS3), they're supposed to be able to hold something like 53.1 Gigabytes, and dat is alot of bytes!

Aren't those Blue Ray discs just HD DVDs? That's what I heard on G4, but they aren't always reliable.
