some of the screenshots dont have self-shadowing (flightsim.com review)

Might have been added in a later stage
 
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

That's a very good assumption. However, has it ever crossed your mind that they may have just simply disabled it [shadows] in the main menu for better performance? Grin Wink

Does that also include cloud shadows?

Possibly that, or the video cards didn't support Shader 2.1 (which is required for this feature)...

But i belive MS and others refer to gliders as 'sailplanes'... Grin
