how do I Change the speed of the aircraft? (Read 335 times)

Hi flight simmers.
I've got an R44 raven2 in fs and I was wondering how to change the speed of the heli in the config file.

I would say that to get the best results you need to get an air file editor and spend some time working with that. You have more power to control the flight dynamics of the aircraft by altering the values in the air file. You'll be looking for VMO and MMO also drag factors, and possibly thrust can increase or decrease speed and performance. I use a free ware program called AirEd and you can download a helpfull tutorial from the Design/Tutorials page here at  Simviation. Make sure to make a copy of the air file before editing just in case. That way you'll have something to go back to if the aircraft performance is not what you want.

I think this is the one I used to help me learn the Air File.   Hitch-hikers Guide to .AIR Files.  You can find it here at simviation in the design/tutorials page. If it says Air 101 thats the one that I used if not it should be just as helpful.

Ahh ,I not arrogancy but why you complicate things like that pilot_1 Google Air-Ed software Doownload it ,and do what you whant even fly at mach 10 with a power of 10 space shuttles.........or make a harriet with vertical take off ........
