I think (and are 90% sure) it is possible if you use AFCAD 2, which is on the first or second page of FS 9 utilities.

Hope this helps,

Thanks mate

I assigned frequencies to RWY's 32 & 14 at Coolangatta (YBCG) and it all seemed to go well.

Upon testing I found that the ATC hasn't acknowledged the frequencies, it's still asking for a visual approach, (which I suck at) lol, and there is only a frequency for RWY 14, 32 doesn't show up at all  ???

Do I have to do anything else?

AF2 Readme:
48. Navaids:
ILS Properties
: Double click the LOC, GP or DME to bring up the ILS Properties window to examine or modify the following settings:
47. Comm Frequencies & ATC
Enabling ATC:

To make ATC work at an airport that doesn’t currently have it, all you have to do is add a control tower frequency and you will get full ATC service at your airport. It is as simple as that. This works even if there is no visible control tower object at that airport, or a control tower there in real life.

Sorry to be a pain in the you-know-what, but how do I go about doing this?

If you hadn't noticed, I am completely brand new to this type of thing lol

In AFCAD2, bring up your airport. Then click on Lists in the menu bar, then Comm Frequencies. You'll get a box listing what's there already. If there isn't a tower listed, then click on Insert, and the first option it gives you is a tower frequency. Accept, save, close.

Done and dusted.

By the way, you can also fly an ILS-type approach using a GPS Wide-Area Augmentation System, using a gauge to be founf at www.fs2x.com. It's great as a backup instrument when you're directed to a runway that hasn't got an ILS.
