I would like to make new DP and BMPs for some of my stock weapos but don't want to overwrite the old ones.
Is the a way to use the same bgl but have the dp use different bmps???

I don't have a way to change or create the bgl file so any info would be a major help. thanks all

For creation of new weapons you need to go to the CFS2 section of down loads in this Website. Go to the Utilities section and the bottom their is a program call MDLC - An easy way to build CFS2 weapons. It should help you in your quest.

To change the Dp of your CFS2 planes you can you use this program Damage Profile editor V1.1. It works well.

You can also find
dp file editor "DPED" Version 1.10 for CFS and CFS2.
in here:
http://www.simviation.com/cfs2utilities1.htm

Remember to backup the original in another folder before making any changes. Also delete the CDP file before making any changes. This way your weapons will show up in the plane you intended the weapons for.

For the DPs use DPedit that James linked to

Nope, unless you want to re build all the wepons (you'll need FSDS to do that, not sure if Gmax will do it) then you'll have to make a copy of the bitmaps and do it that way  Smiley

Thanks all. oh i goofed on one thing and thats the dp ref the bmp. it doesn't. oops !!! but thanks again.
is there a tut for the mdlc and do i have to use gmax or fsds with it ?
