LOL, yeah-just as I put a new motor in it the gas jumps up. Oh well, it doesn't matter that much. I actually only drive it a few hundred miles a year and therefore the gas mileage doesn't make that much of a difference. Right now its still not running as the engine swap is taking longer than expected and I am so busy with school applications (which take priority unfortunately
). But, I hope it will be running by the end of the summer. I does look a bit different now though, that pic was taken last summer at a car show. It currently has a cowl induction hood on it which isn't painted blue (its a primer black) and should get painted this winter. I'd post a newer pic but its in the garage under a cover at the moment.
But, there is a possibility I will be getting another car in the near future. I have always wanted to build a car for the 1/4 mile drag races and have finally decided that I should. I went up to a major amature drag racing event last weekend (I had been to other events smaller events in the past) and watched one of my best friend's and his father race. Anyway, I decided that I should build a car. I'm in the process of looking for a cheap 1978-80 Camaro (hopefully under $500). I want a V8 car but the motor can be blown since I have a 350 V8 sitting in my garage just begging for a home. I figure drop $200 into that motor and it'll make 300hp-perfect for a beginner's race car. 8)
in a couple of weeks i get some shots of my engine, my sis's bf is rebuilding it and detailing it, and boy does it look good, and it will sound good when we put the flowmaster exhaust on
