Here's the provisional display content. Rumour has it (via FlyPast) that the Kennet Supermarine Seafire will be making its display debut too, including a not seen before Sea Hurricane/Seafire formation. Other highlights look like being Peter Teichmann's Spitfire PR MkXI, and a fly past by the BBMF Lancaster. Smiley

Looks like a good show for those who feel like making their first trip to gods own airfield in deepest Bedfordshire... Smiley

I'll be there, but entertaining the parents and Mrs C, so you probably won't see too much of me... Smiley

Edit: Very (Un)official rumours now that the RNHF will also make an appearance with the Sea Fury, and possibly the Sea Hawk...

I sense a unique "Sea" formation coming... Smiley

I'll be at Breighton that day, fingers crossed the Buchon will fly in the wake of its first flight a few days ago Smiley

Missing the chance of a SeaFest? Deary me... Wink

According to the RNHF website, the Sea Fury and Sea Hawk are going to OW, so it's more official now Smiley. Be nice if the Sea Fury lands on too... (obviously not the Sea Hawk!) Smiley

I very much doubt they'll risk that.

I've seen the Sea Fury and Hawk before and the Sea Hurricane and Seafire are basically (not exactly I know) just a Hurricane and Spitfire taken at looks alone and I've seen plenty of those, but the Buchon is a whole new type for me so it takes priority Smiley

Besides I can't justify doing such a long drive to a show of OWs nature.

I suppose it is. Thankfully I'm just old enough to have bee priveleged to see both Black 6 and Hans Dittes ME109G in 1995 at North Weald, and Black 6 right up until it "retired" in '97 (seeing it at OW was a great experience). I was also lucky enough to see OFMCs Buchon in the two years it was airworthy before Mark Hanna's tragic accident...

I could offer you a lift share on day? I'll try and get to Breighton sometime soon - its only about 30mins drive away.
