DIE AMD MOBILE!!! Seirously, do atleast some resurch. Buy an intel Centrino Duo book from Dell, or from IbuyPower. Hell even buying from staples is decently cheap. CompUSA has atleast a 5% above any other OEM markup. Also look for an actual card, not intagraded GPU. The higher end Dell insperons are nice little books.

Cheers

I just looked at your post again. COMAPQ?!?!?! Seriously do you know anything about computer companys, let alone computers themselves. I had to completely rebuild a Compaq notebook for a customer about one year after they bought it, because their RAM, DVD, and HDD failed all at about the same time.

And after spending $1800 on a desktop, your looking to spend another $1000 on a notebook? God I wish I had your cash.

PS: +1 to Congo. And if I remember wasn't he calling himself Candle something?

it was that before my father died  Cry he had this acount in new york life or something like that. What this account did was that my father payed like 100 dollars monthly or soemthing and when i grow up and if he died i'll get all that cash. I didn't know about it then this lawyer came to my house stating that my father saved 16,000 dollars so i was getting the money. So i moved to florida bought a house and had 3,500 left so i'm spending it on computers and all that suff.

Well if you have that kind of cash, why not buy a Voodoo notebook. They are going to be the best on the market.

Their most expensive rig fully loaded will cost around $2500. If you get a good mid range system it should be around $1800 includeing shipping.

On another note, why just pinp out your home tech? Why not get your mobile tech? Hows about looking at a HP iPAQ hx2495 or a Dell Axim 51V (both $400) for a Pocket PC, and a motorola RAZR v3i (the newest RAZR w/ iTunes and a 1.23 megapixel camera) only $270 on eBay. With all that and mabe a nice watch (Breitling Crosswind anyone?) you will be a god amung geeks.

Cheers

If you want a laptop, I suggest one of Intels Core processors. Uses less power than Turion and others and is much faster. 2.6ghz core Duo bate the fx60 by about 30fps in Quake 4.

Or....

You could buy the new Intel mobile CPU that is coming out. Supposidly 40% faster than the Core duo and uses less power.

WHAT?!?!?

Where did these numbers come from. I know that Core Duo (conroe) beat out FX-60 and 62 by a huge margin, however the new lappy processers arn't going to outdo the desktop ones, they just dont have the power. I think your thinking that they are going to be 40% faster than Centrino Duo and uses less power. If thats what you mean then I agree
