Why in the world does my default Mooney and a Piper Arrow III I just downloaded want to fly off to the right or left by its self. The mooney cant be flown unless I set the Heading to keep it straight. Otherwise it banks to the right so bad I just go in tight circles. I have the weight balanced and the Auto rudder option checked. The main thing to remember is those two are the only ones that do that out of 50 other aircraft I have. ( I'v had a couple of others but had to get rid of them because of this problem. Is there some tweek in the Air Cfg. file to solve this or what? Wildie. ???

As I don't have a clues as to why it's happening or how to fix it, I am therefore supremely, and eminently, qualified to make a suggestion:
Are you starting to fly from a saved flight ? In other words, at some point in time did you finish a flight in the Mooney, etc., and save it as your default flight?
I understand that it is "best practice" to reset FS9 to a default flight - for nostalgic reasons, mine is the default Meigs flight - and *from there* I will create a new flight, choosing a different airplane, etc.
Apparently, saving a flight saves not only the location and airplane, but many other unseen parameters that may affect your next changes....

Such as the aileron trim, for starters. Also, if the trim is set correctly, make sure the autopilot isn't on when you start the flight. If it is, and its trying to track a heading, the aileron trim will automatically adjust to its highest setting as the autopilot tries to get the plane to roll.

No, It's not eather of them. All is set right and the flights are'nt saved or anything.. They just go in circles when left to them selfs. Just those 2 planes for some reason.

Fuel settings? Perhaps you are only running on one fuel tank, so the balance is out? Large airliners rarely even notice this, as they outweigh the gas by enough. But a small single or twin prop is going to notice big time, especially with full realism. Maybe that? Or perhaps the fuel loads got messed with somehow.
From my stock Mooney:
Quote:
LeftMain = -4.1, -7.9, -0.8, 47.5, 3.0
RightMain = -4.1, 7.9, -0.8, 47.5, 3.0
fuel_type = 1
number_of_tank_selectors = 1
electric_pump=1
And you might try redownloading the Piper to see if there is something awry in there.
But then again, it could be a gauge problem . . . that would be a real bugger. If its that, and the Mooney is affected, that means a stock gauge set got replaced. You'll have to get into the disks to find it again.

Thanks. I'l check the fuel, and the Gauge may well be the problem. Thanks again,Wildie.
