Texturing tut needed.....HELP (Read 238 times)

Does anyone know where a texturing tut using paint shop pro may be? I have the one for corel draw but I do not have that program and cant seem to cross ref. it to paint shop pro. Any ideas would be great. Thanks guys

Hi Ncgent Two month ago I didn't know anything about PSP,Due to this I Use as paint texture a photos,wich I regret now,Because I learn most of this easy drawing software,when I was in the mid of my made,I did has the need to draw step by step,I can tell you my friend Its easy,I have photoshop corel ,I never draw before ,I ain too good though in fact I post almost the same question that you're asking right now,Im going to look for it and paste it here Ill EDIT

This was post two or three weeks ago,there are big differece between you and me first is because is more difficult to me to read in english,but I did ,I did learn how to use it is easy buddy,I was looking a tutorial too wich in this case the " the stupid idiots Guide for using Gmax" this was the only thing i found,take a time and sit and open a 512x512 24 bits check the tool bar in the left side what they do ,like ,clone,antiperpective,brush airbrush,and in 3d effect wow! amazing thing with this options,try my frie try take your own time buddy

Here's my advice.

Since you appear to be a beginner at this I suggest that you start off by making simple textures [no alpha channels, no light maps, etc.] and apply them to the visual models you are going to apply them on to see if they work and until you fully understand the process of the applying textures and how to avoid errors.

Once you get the hang of creating plane and simple textures you can then moe on to learning and understanding alpha channels and light maps.

It is always best to fully understand all the processes so that you can be able to fix any errors that might crop up during development and so that your textures can look better.
