I wonder how many of the doubters here have actually seen one in the flesh, swooping and diving.

We had one here at the Pope AFB open house last year. Truly a magnificant flight to see. Thanks to Oz and a few others, I enjoy my RealAir Spit on a regular basis

Well I have seen a Spit once but will be seeing many at one time here soon
http://yankeeairmuseum.org/airshow/aircraft.htm
And I have seen the 38 so many times I lost count, nothing beats the sight or sound of the 38 except maybe a DC3 lol.
Or even better two 38s flying formation with two P47s (Lost Squadron Airshow last fall).
Dont get me wrong a Spit is a beatuiful thing, but we all have our preferances.
