Here's my L4 grasshopper repaint
It is basic as there are problems with the way the plane uses the textures.

cool, a lot similar to mine but i have the wrong insignia fro the time those were used... though thats an L-2... L-4s had the extended windows on the sides and top, L-2s were basically stock Piper Cubs. glad to got the right insignia

Not quite right. Grasshopper is a generic term for light liaison aircraft by various manufacturers. The L-2 is the military version of the Taylorcraft Model D.

The L-4 is the Piper Cub.

But it still has those extended windows in the rear (which is why I always got confused when seeing pictures claiming it was a Piper cause I thought it was an Aeronca or Stinson)
My one suggestsion to improve the repaint is to add in the vertical lines (the black and white ones)

If that's a repaint of the default Piper Cub, you've done well - that one's a nightmare to repaint! So much reused texture all over the place, there's not much scope for anything more than a single overall colour.
Now that you're gotten your feet wet with repaints, you'll find most of the downloads here and at other sites are much easier than that Cub.
