Ok, here it goes,  Grin
This is my first model for FS. I know I probably have started with a plane, but I picked a '69 Charger, because I couldn't find a plane that I like that wasn’t already made.

...

Thanks for looking,

The crude and rude answer is RTFM.

However, this really means that you should read the makemdl SDK which will give you all the available tag names and the animation parameters (if other than default aniimations).

Basically, unless you want a part to specifically DO something - as in an animation - then it doesn't matter what you call it.  Your push bar can remain push_bar or you can name it that_pipe_thin_out_front"

However, you want your tires to rotate - so those should be named c_tire_01;c_tire_02; l_tire; r_tire

Your steering wheel is really an aircraft's rudder pedals.  However, the challenge there is to get the steering wheel rotation to be more than just part of a turn, lock-to-lock.  The steering wheel should be tagged lever_pedals_l_r and animated with key frames.

I find that for a first project, you really chose something more complicated than a simple aeroplane, but the modelling is quite good for a "first"  project. (I would have suggested a '63 Oldsmobile F-85, but only because that was my first car)

Ok, I just kinda figured out the texturing too.

I thought that every part had to have a specific name
This is much easyer than I thought  Grin

You're not the only one my friend. I started car modeling for FS years ago. But don't worry, I wasn't the first one either to come up with the idea of cars. Grin
