A serious contender for "best" has to be Eaglesoft. Their line of business jets and current GA aircraft are second to none in overall quality and performance.

Indeed, particularly as Just Flight tend not to make much payware, but rather publish other companies (Captain Sim (707,727, Mig-21, C-130), PSS (Airbus A340, 777, 757 etc))...

I'd say Cloud 9 are the best, they have only done a few so far but each on is absolute quality.

I note that Abacus popped up on the list, a fantastic Publisher I remember from long, long ago....
I recently purchased the excellent "EZ-Scenery" program by Abacus to compliment my "LAGO FSSE/FSE" scenery enhancers...
...!
...also..."Best Payware"....
"FS Navigator"...without a doubt...

In terms of payware aircraft, I find that the best developer (even though they really only have like 2 planes), is Aeroworx. For their King Air B200 especially. Its not on the list, but they are more closely associated with Flight1. Having spent so much money on a fleet of payware, their B200 excels everyone of them by some degree.
As for companies, which are quite close, I would say Realair is a good one too. I purchased their SF260 last night and the thing just feels so good and so light on frames. Feels like real flying.
Level D is also a great company if you like flying big 767s. PMDG as well for around the same detail level.
Cheers,
RB
