I took a demo flight today, and now it's confirmed I'm not bored with flying!
I must admit, I was a bit timid to take the controls and all I did was fly straight and level (more or less) and a turn or two, but it was great!
For the longest time I had thought I had lost interest in flying, but my fears have been laid to rest! It's my interest in simulation that has waned! Unfortunately it was only 30 minutes long, but it was very choppy, so it made for a very interesting flight! I can't see why anyone would want to fly a jet. We did all kinds of wild stuff in "just" a Cessna! Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
Now I need to get a drivers licence so I can take flying lessons!
PS: Oh, and they were so nice! They let me turn the scenery detail slider to the maximum!
The Devil's Advocate.

That "stunt" where anything not properly secured floats in midair. Not really a stunt, but I was having fun, and ATC doesn't like that.
Besides, those steep climbs are great too.
F-16? Hoo hah! Give me a Cessna!
A Stuka would be better, but hey!

yah, stalls are fun.
Even at the age of fourteen I had my first stall just a few months ago. I stopped breathing for 5 seconds.
Tight turns are also fun.

Aww common, stalls aren't that bad-you can stop breathing when the propeller stops doing that whirry thing shortly after takeoff
And 605, were you referring to negative Gs? That's not something CFIs generally do on demo flights!

I was just kind of surprised when it happened.
We did three of them.
And I LOVED it!

That's an excellent way to beat the flight-simming blahs, and congratulations!
And welcome to the oft-misunderstood theme park known as "G.A."!!

He must've gotten an advance copy of Vista and FSX, 'cause those were some great frames...

No. Goodness, no! That would be irresponsible of him! We never had this conversation!
In hindsight, all I did was fly straight and turn once. But the winds were really something that day, so it was quite the ride. It was neat when we flew about 500-1000 feet under a 737.
