im kinda confused by your question but, if your trying to just make a interior and exterior, simply make the exterior, make a clone then rename to interior, make sure both exterior has all of the parts that relate to exterior grouped, then do the same for interior. Then select both exterior and interior and select export select etc. Hope this helps. Wink

If correct you should have your Hierachy set-up right, thus being able to clone a complete subgroup.

No need to have them in separate scenes generally as only one will be displayed at a time.  But yes, you can keep separate and merge them during the export makemdl function.

Generally, you can either group your aircraft with a group named Exterior, (or link hi-order objects to a node called Exterior).  Once grouped, clone the exterior and name it interior.  Hide the exterior model to work on the interior model or vice versa.  The models occupy the same space so only one should be viewed at a time.

In your interior model, you may now delete all the objects not seen from the cockpit (to optimize it for low polys and better FPS).

Remember that the pivot for exterior and interior models must be the same coordinates.  It is easiest for me to set the aircraft properly in gmax so that the 0,0,0 coordinates are the same as the FS reference and Center of Gravity.   This would be the aircraft centerline, 1/4 distance back from the leading edge of wing, and just below the engine thrustline about 1-3".

So I assume must be some 2 main link like this

EXTERIOR
       fuse
          r_wing
                 r_gear
                       r_tire_still_01
                       r_tire_blurred_01
this is an example, and the second main link

INTERIOR
      lever_yoke
      swich_whatever
      pedal_rudder
      I_forgot _all_the_names_now_01
only two main links interior and exterior, the rest is below that hireatry right?
I hide a complete link all above of EXTERIOR to built the INTERIOR and them vice versa ..Right?

So At the moment of exporting from Gmax I should Unhide everything...right? ???

That is correct.  Always hide one model while working on the other one.

You do not however have to unhide either model to export.  Just export the scene and both models will be exported, one as exterior.x, one as interior.x

Makemdl will then read both models and compile the .mdl file.
