FlyReliance Relaunch March 2006
http://www.flyreliance.co.uk

Air Reliance virtual has been operating for nearly two years and for 2006 we decided to relaunch with a new name and corporate logo, we now are known as FlyReliance Airways to reflect names used by low-cost travel in the real world.

We have completely redesigned the website and pilot experience to include many features we believe other virtual airlines don’t offer. All aspects of the website are totally automated meaning no-one has to wait around for things to be updated, they happen in real-time.

Fleet:

We now operate a modern fleet comprising of Airbus A319, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 757-200, Boeing 767-300 and ATR72. We have old off all our old Boeing 737 aircraft in favour of the newer A319.

Operations:

We now have over 600 flights in our systems that pilots can fly, these include flights to Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Australasia centred on major and domestic airports. All flights in our Pilot Lounge include detailed information on route length, fuel needed, and time. Pilots can find the type of flight they want to fly and then book the flight, this flight can then not be booked by another pilot until flown. This is to recreate real world operations as the same flight cant be flown twice!

Premier Club:
...

New for 2006 we have launched a pilots only Premier Club, whenever a pilot flies a flight they earn points, the more points they earn the better it is, these can then be exchanged for discounts or promotions in the airline. We have a unique points card designed for us to launch this new club.

Pilot Lounge:
http://lounge.flyreliance.co.uk

We have a brand new custom built php/mysql pilot lounge that takes care of everything, the features it includes are: Pilot Stats, Message Centre, Downloads, Holiday/Retirement Request, FSPassengers integration, Flight Info and much more. This is again all automated so pilots hours are instantly updated.

Hubs:

FlyReliance now operates from more hubs meaning more choice for our pilots, we now operate these hubs and divisions:

London Gatwick – Charter hub
London Stansted – Regional hub
Manchester Intl – Scheduled hub
Frankfurt Main – Long haul hub

In the future we will operate from London Luton but we are unsure at this stage as to what.

Pilot Gallery:
http://gallery.flyreliance.co.uk

When pilots fly flights there is always that perfect screenshot they see, sunset, sunrise, weather or major airports, with this facility pilots can take shots then upload them to our special gallery for others to see and enjoy pus inspire new pilots to join us.

Forums:
http://forums.flyreliance.co.uk

Our forums are updated with our new logo and are fairly lively with pilots and staff chatting about allsorts aviation and non-aviation based. This is a good place to find useful info and recommended downloads etc.

We are proud to relaunch and assure you all that we will be around for many years to come, over this last two years we have come so far and gained many pilots and dedicated staff. When we started out two years ago we just operated the 757 to the Canary Islands and the Balearics, now we operate around the globe with a large fleet of aircraft.

Thankyou for reading this press release and please browse our new website, I would also be greatful for comments from you.
