I have a friend who is a member of SimV although he hasent looked at the forums for awhile, and he has his own server system with 3 terabites of space. I was talking to him and i MIGHT have found a server that will always be active for SimV and others for our races, airshows, and general flights. Rember this is only a POSSIBILITY  he doesent know how to set up a FS server and neither do i, info there would be great. He flys FS, mostly of Vatsim, and he is a real ATC (i believe Tucson Aproach not shure) But he does have the ability to run a FS server, but as i said were not shure how yet but it does look like a good possibility.

Airshow_lover is right, Sam and friends have set up a server, the information about it is on this page here. its not just used for free flights but is probably going to be used for some of the tours, airshows and other events.
