Avro Vulcan spoiler animation (Read 297 times)

I have built an Avro Vulcan B Mk2 (FSDS V.2). Everything is fine except for the spoilers. They pop up instead following the spoiler cycle time as set in the Air file.

Does anybody have any ideas about this please ?

How did you set your keyframes?

if you just set the one keyframe at kf=100, then yes, it will just "pop up".

Thanks Felix. As far as I know you normally set keyframe 0 with the spoiler closed and 100 with the spoiler open. This is what I have been doing with all other aircraft that I have built, and it always worked. The rate of opening or closing is set in the Air file.

Hi
If you use lever ver for the spoiler tag it will do that ..I think

also check that airfile section 1101 spoiler cycle time in sec
and the aircraft.cfg for spoiler_limit= in deg
failing all that,make sure a pesky KF hasnt gotten in between 0 and 100

Problem solved !!!

If you ever come across a problem like this, remember to check the entry spoilerons_available in the cfg file.
Mine was set at 1 and it should have been 0.

I hope this information will be of value to somebody in future.
