I am converting the Wellington for use in CFS3, no easy task.  I have hit an issue in building the VC, the gauges all show up nicely in G-max but not all of them do so in the sim.  Does anyone know why this might happen?

Could it be 'cos you've got a really stupid purple nose on your Wellington Will and it is ashamed and keeps trying to hide? Grin Embarrassed Kiss
Alternatively it might be something to do with mapping in the 2d cockpit Wink

I like the really stupid purple nose.  It reminds me of someone..

There is no 2-d cockpit to worry about so I think that it is texture issue.  I'm a bit stumped.

You ARE using the gauges from the CFS3 gamepack and  you're not doing it the "FS9" way, right?

That's right Felix, I merged the British Gauges from the gamepack into my model and arranged them in my VC.  To check out if it was my gauge placement that was causing the issue I deleted my set up and remerged the gauges and moved them into view but the same issue with the same gauges exists.

I've cracked it!

I merged the US and German Gauges into my model to see if it was an issue with the British textures and found that it was.  When I first started messing around with a VC I saved a copy of each of the texture files (b_gauges_1,2,3) as dds_3 because I was getting an error message in Gmax when I tried to export the model to CFS3.  The error message went away when I did this but the gauges became corrupted.

Now that I have deleted my dds textures from the wellington folder she looks like this...

...

So there you have it.  My fault in the end Roll Eyes
