Is it possible in GMax to view textures in the other three windows other than perspective, like top, front and left windows? ???
Right now they only show the outline of the object

Yes mate,

Right click with the mouse over the window title and you will get a list of options for the window, Select "Smooth and highlights" and you will see your texturing.

Who switched the lights off? I can't see a thing....... Hold on, my eyes were closed. Oops, my bad...............&&

and if you dont feel like right clicking... the key shortcut to toggle between wireframe and smooth+highlights is F3.... and to toggle edged faces is F4....
