Since there will be no McChord ABF open house this summer (and next too) I've only got two major airshows to attend, but about a week appart.

Hillsboro airshow in Oregon is always good... they don't have any major military teams, so hopefully they'll get a bunch of single ship demos to make up for it.  This show is AMAZING for photography!

First weekend in August I'll be spotting all over Seattle/Boeing Field as the Blue Angels will be in town.  Along with The Patriots.

I'll go to some of the smaller airshow as well to play around with my new camera... one is strictly warbirds (down in Olympia) and should be cool... another is an EAA show (Arlington Fly in) And a third up in Bellingham.

The day is always better when you're flying upside down.&&&&www.fight2flyphoto.com&&&&Canon RebelXT&&Canon 18-55mm&&Sigma 10-20mm F/4-6.3&&Sigma 100-300mm F/4-6.3&&Sigma 50-500mm F/4-6.3

I'm going to Oskosh for sure in July.. I can't WAIT to fly into that cluster-foxtrot. I've heard that you not only are given a runway to land on.. but a SPOT on that runway and then duck off into the grass.

I'll be in Ohio then (I still think we should have a fly-in at Right Patt AFB museum), so I'll either fly right over Lake Michigan.. or .. take the VRF fly-way around Chicago (right over what's left of Meigs (what a view that will be))..

Not sure what shows are to come.  Havent been to any around here Embarrassed  But Grissom will have at least 2, and I think theres one at Fort Wayne.  I plan to at least drop in once this year.  Their pretty small ones though Wink  Probably should just take a job up at the Kittyhawk Cargo at FWA...then would have an airshow every day Tongue
