As we all know (or not) the weather here in the NE has sucked grandiously.

Hence I didn't fly for 5 weeks.

Today I did fly ... and then some!!

I flew for 3 hours. Went to Millville, then Trenton, then Andover.

Got radar flight following (just for shiz and giggles ... I generally don't get it because the frequencies are insane-busy and the controllers are cranky but today everybody was calm and laid back and I took advantage of it).

Not much to say about the flight other than I am surprised at how well I can still fly in spite of having been grounded for 5 weeks.

Andover has a "shorty" runway of 2000 feet. I nailed it and stopped in less than 1000 ... yep. I can still land short.

I took the movie by lodging my camera between the dashboard and the windshield. Worked like a charm!

I dunno about that clip at Andover... it ends before you stopped rolling... I made a nice short landing there once, too, on 03... but no video, alas.
That camera placement worked out well.

I've had to cancel my last two flights... almost 7 weeks now...



Have to work today, but looking outside, it may be for the best that I cancelled.

I liked the video, I've thought about doing something like that before, but I could never figure out a way to do it, short of taking someone with me, but I guess I could do that.

Looks like a nice little airport there....
