A few months ago someone mentioned that they were working on a object placer program/interface for Rwy12. Since then, I have heard nothing. The program was originaly called realtimeplacer.zip and was to be uploaded to FSFreeware.com, but the site is gone.

Does anyone have any further info on this placer program? Is it still being developed/tested?

Here is the original info:
http://www.rwy12.com/rwy12/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=29

I hope someone has some new info on this.

. . . turn on broken record:
Rwy12 Library Objects can be placed in FS9 visually using EZ-Scenery ($29)

IMO, no one will be doing anything better for placing Scenery Library Objects in FS9 -- especially with FX in-the-wings

Every serious FS9 scenery creator is using EZ-Scenery; what more proof does one need than to know even Frank Betts has moved on to it.

Do I make myself clear?   ???

Negative, Hagar . . . Rwy12 is still there and it's still FREE. My point is users should be cognizant of the fact EZ-Scenery -- once installed -- has the capability to access other Scenery Object Libraries on one's harddrive -- including all the Default FS9 Scenery Objects, and of course, ALL Rwy12 Objects located on the harddrive.

Stop and think about it . . . this is bloody amazing by onyone's standards. To Seev Kahn's credit, he has authorized such use of Rwy12 Object. Thanks to Seev et al, for their great freeware program: Rwy12.

Frank Betts is currently converting his entire Scenery Objects Libraries for access within EZ-S. thnx Frank (yes, I sent him the email).

Seems a little strange that someone announces they're working on a very similar program on the Runway12 forum & then suddenly goes quiet. Roll Eyes

I'd never heard of EZ-Scenery until I saw this thread.  I went and downloaded the demo - it's brilliant!  I'm gonna get this for sure.  $29 is worth every penny, especially when the exchange rate is in my favour  Grin

I learned to drive it in 10 minutes, while creating a hang glider slalom course down the side of a steep hill (been watching too much Winter Olympics this week).

I'd say this is going to become a common user package, much like dxtbmp.exe is now for anyone who does repaints.  Yes it's payware, but it's well worth it.
