Heck I hope this is ok?? Guys let me know if SimV has a no advertising policy, my memory is poor!!! Not often I find time to make it back to old SimV, I do hope you're all behaving!!
Anyhow, I just wanted to give a HU to those who have been watching the development of
Ground Environment
(and maybe those who don't know it?).
Peter Widling and Anthony Vos have been working hard on
Ground Environment
, release is planned for the end of Feb, although as with any development this could alter.
The European Spring textures are now almost complete with an excellent job on the autogen alignment. I believe Asia is being worked on at the moment and America is looking excellent and also close to finish.
Screenshots are available on the GE website
HERE
If you are on dial up, you may find my gallery a little easier
HERE
Hope you enjoy the look and feel of these textures, they are looking stunning!!
Keep well

I couldn't see a price tag - but these things generally retails at more than the sim itself. I place a bet at $40.

Thanks for moving this Ozzy, sorry for the inconvenience.
It would be nice to avoid a bunch of posts complaining that you would have to pay for something that has been in the making by two people, full time for over a year

I'm not sure where you got that information from? If you can run default then you can run Ground Environment, it uses no more resources
I need to confirm the price, I can't remember if the number that's in my head is US Dollars, British Pounds or Euros!!

It looks great from way up. I have been using the Pilots SR-71 at Flight level 650 and they look great.
And 29 dollars to cover the whole world in all seasons is amazing. I believe this will be a landmark title, a pefect ending to our days with FS9!
