Thanks OZ! So that's what this is!!
I remember reading in one of the Biggles Albums... They had a Hurricane in a same scheme. that one was a captured bird by the Germans and was usead against the british...

From April 1938 most Spits had one wing underside painted black (port) and the other white (starboard) whilst the fuselage was left aluminium. This was so AA-crews would know she was friendly (those Mr. Magoos needed all the help they could get!).
Some had a half-black/half-white scheme for the whole of the underside (inc. fuselage) with the ailerons in the opposite colour as well.
By June 1940 this paintjob was gone

This paintscheme is part of the package that AH temporarily put up.. I didnt get enough proper shots for a post. I will try to get some post worthy shots again soon... ( maybe tonight) Will call the thread Black&White
